Adjunct Research Scientist at NAAMII leading the RAIN research group
Associate Research Scientist at Yale University
PhD in Neuroscience from Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz
Dr. Nabin Koirala is an Associate Research Scientist at Yale University, where he investigates microstructural and network alterations at cortical and subcortical levels to characterize neurological disorders and their genetic links. He completed his PhD in Neuroscience at Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz, Germany in 2019. His research combines advanced neuroimaging techniques with computational approaches to understand brain function and dysfunction. Before transitioning to neuroscience, he worked as an engineer in Nepal and pursued his Master's degree in Germany in 2012. Dr. Koirala's work bridges neuroscience, imaging science, and computational biology to advance understanding of brain disorders and their underlying mechanisms.
