  • Specializes in 3D computer vision, spatial computing and intelligence, with an emphasis on scene representation and vision language models

Dr. Danda Pani Paudel is a Postdoctoral Researcher at ETH Zurich's Computer Vision Lab under Prof. Luc Van Gool. His research focuses on visual SLAM, mathematical optimization, and geometric problems in computer vision, with current work in vision-based city-scale traffic flow modeling.
He received his PhD in 2015 and Master's degree in Computer Vision in 2012, both from the University of Bourgogne, France. From 2013 to 2015, he worked as a Research Scholar at the University of Strasbourg, France, where he developed global methods for 2D-3D registration problems.
Dr. Paudel's work focuses on 3D computer vision, emphasising scene representation and understanding through spatial intelligence derived from 3D/4D visual data using vision-language models.
