Kushal Paudel, Research Assistant at TOGAI Lab, represented NAAMII at the Youth in Focus: Politics, Activism and Road to Representation forum organized by Women Service Institute (WSI), Nepal, held at Alfa Beta House, Baneshwor on April 2, 2026. The forum brought together youth leaders, policymakers, and practitioners across three sessions to critically examine youth participation in Nepal's political landscape, spanning institutional, digital, and activist domains. Kushal joined as a speaker in the panel discussion titled "Role of Social Media in Civic Engagement."

Drawing on NAAMII's ongoing work under the Transparency for Accountability and Good Governance project, Kushal shared insights on social media transparency and digital political engagement. The three-session forum collectively surfaced both the growing influence of youth voices in Nepal's civic discourse and the systemic and technological challenges that continue to shape how that engagement unfolds, conversations that sit directly at the intersection of NAAMII's research and its commitment to accountable, technology-informed governance.
