Join NAAMII’s AI & Society (Governance Lab) and work at the intersection of AI policy, governance, and ethics.
As part of this internship, you will support a national-level AI governance gap analysis in Nepal, working under the direct supervision of Sandhya Sitoula. The role offers hands-on exposure to policy research aligned with international frameworks such as UNESCO and OECD, while building strong foundations in AI governance and digital policy research.

Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law, public policy, international relations, development studies, computer science, data science, or a related field
- Demonstrated interest in AI governance, digital policy, or technology ethics
- Strong research, analytical, and writing skills
- Ability to synthesize complex policy and technical information
- Familiarity with Nepal’s policy or governance landscape is an advantage
