Sagar Giri is a Research Assistant at NAAMII, working in the Multimodal Learning Lab, and a Computer Engineering graduate from Pulchowk Campus. His research interests include LLM pretraining, vision language model (VLM) tuning, multimodal learning, and reinforcement learning.

He is a passionate learner committed to developing innovative AI frameworks and leveraging data driven approaches to address complex real world challenges in artificial intelligence and machine learning. His long term research vision focuses on bridging biological intelligence and machine intelligence by exploring mathematically grounded approaches inspired by human cognition and brain mechanisms.
