Krishna Sharma is a Research Fellow and Economist at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University. His work focuses on innovation, entrepreneurship, technology transfer, AI and economic measurement, digital governance, and economic growth, combining large-scale data analysis with applied economic methods. He studies how institutions shape innovation, entrepreneurial ecosystems, and the societal impacts of emerging technologies, with a particular focus on the Global South. He is also an Affiliate Researcher with the Center for South Asia at Stanford University.
