Role Overview
The Human Resource Trainee will support NAAMII’s Human Resource (HR) operations by assisting with recruitment, onboarding, documentation, employee records management, and general HR administrative tasks. The intern will gain hands-on experience in HR systems and processes while contributing to efficient day-to-day HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
A. Recruitment & Onboarding Support
o Assist in posting job advertisements and managing applicant tracking.
o Coordinate screening processes, schedule interviews, and communicate with candidates.
o Support onboarding activities, including orientation planning and documentation collection.
B. HR Documentation & Record Keeping
o Maintain accurate and organized employee files (digital and physical).
o Assist in preparing HR letters (internship letters, experience letters, contracts, etc.)
o Update HR databases, attendance records, and organizational rosters.
C. HR Operations & Compliance
o Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
o Assist with leave records, timesheet collection, and internal compliance checks.
o Help organize HR-related events such as trainings, workshops, and team activities.
D. Employee Engagement & Support
o Support internal communication activities.
o Help coordinate employee surveys, feedback collection, and engagement initiatives.
o Serve as a point of contact for basic employee queries.
E. General Administrative Support
o Assist the Head of Operations in daily HR and administrative tasks.
o Provide logistical support for office operations, events, and meetings.
Required Qualifications
o Currently pursuing or recently completed Bachelor’s in Business Administration, human resource management, or a related field.
o Strong communication skills written and verbal.
o Good organizational and time-management abilities.
o Proficient in MS Office tools & applications.
o Proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
o Strong interest in dealing with people and HR administration.
o Familiarity with HR concepts (recruitment, onboarding, employee lifecycle).
o Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving research environment.
